Twenty

Saying your sorry seems simple, it’s only three words. But, in actually, we humans struggle with it. It’s hard to admit you are wrong, and I don’t mean the type of apology coated in excuses and defense. To say plainly, “I am sorry,” is one of the toughest things to do.

Not close behind is forgiveness. It’s not easy to erase that hurt and start anew. It’s hard to forget and move on.

Today, I’ve said I’ve apologized, was forgiven and forgave. The older we get, the harder it is to do those things, but the more important it is. In every situation today, it was only small things and really nothing to get upset over. Ever.
